With over 30 years of experience in Injection Molding, we offer full design, manufacturing and maintenance of injection molding tooling. We mold components using only engineering grades of plastic, all recyclable. We are capable of molding parts up to 1 lb. or 1 sq. ft., small quantities to large.

Bishop Aviation offers optical molding for lighting lenses, back lighted pointers, and displays. Our dedicated machinery for molding optical components is reserved for optical grade clear material only, this is done to ensure a premium quality product. All optical molding is done in a clean room environment.

Bishop Aviation's machine shop has over 50 years of experience in all facets of machining, from turning, threading, and grinding prototypes to full production. Our capabilities include, but are not limited to, stamping, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

Bishop Aviation's machine shop has the capabilities to work with a variety of medium including aluminum, steel, brass, stainless steel, titanium, plastic, rubber and glass. We have the capability to machine the smallest of parts up to a maximum size of 20" X 36". We offer assembly and testing to insure a quality product and a one stop facility for our customers.

Our Glass Fabrication division specializes in flat cober glass for instrumentation. Glass may be manufactured to customer specifications: e.g. any shape, holes, notches, or anti-reflective coatings. Many standard products are available and custom needs will be quoted on request.

Our glass shop is capable of cutting cover glass a minimum diameter of 1.75", maximum of 3.5" diameter, drilling holes and cutting flats.

Standard tolerance on the diameter is ± .000/-.010.

  • .071"-.084"
  • .085"-.101"
  • .115"-.134"

Anti-reflective coatings per Mil-C-14806 and Mil-C-675 are available. Please provide diameter and thickness, a print or sample glass when order or requesting a quote.
